Please check your order carefully & ensure all details are correct. After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we dispatch your items. If you are in any doubt please let us know immediately. Don’t forget we are here to help.
We ask that all goods are paid for prior to delivery with cleared funds. Payment can be made via our website over a secure connection. You have the option of bank transfer we will despatch goods upon cleared funds.
ALL CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE SENT TO REGISTERED CARD ADDRESS (Paypal Payments) Unless Otherwise agreed.
- DELIVERIESDelivery is to mainland UK only.
Goods once ordered will be dispatched with 7 working days of the order been received. All items are inspected before they are dispatched thoroughly; items are packed and sometimes double packed to ensure that damage does not occur in transit to you the customer.
We at Midlands Upcycling are keen for high level of service in pursuit of that all orders will be confirmed by us primarily via e-mail or over the telephone (in the case of long distance purchases), a dispatch confirmation will be given, this will inform when the goods will be dispatched and inform you of the pending delivery.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU SEND US YOUR TELEPHONE DETAILS TO AID DELIVERY.
Where fragile or large bulky items are being delivered, we will arrange an agreeable delivery date, using a dedicated delivery Company, to ensure the products arrive safely and undamaged. On arrival, fragile goods should be unwrapped and inspected carefully by the customer for any signs of damage. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the items are inspected fully before signing the delivery documentation. A re-delivery charge of £55.00 will be payable if the initial delivery fails, due to the customer not being available at the pre-arranged date.
Delivery quoted is to any single UK mainland address only – using a one man delivery.
For palletised deliveries, the goods will be delivered as close as possible to your front door. If this location is unreachable for any reason, such as being located on a narrow street, up a flight of stairs (such as flats), or due to any other obstruction, delivery will be made to as near to your property as possible.
For palletised deliveries, the driver is NOT insured to take the goods inside your property. The pallet will be delivered to a location as stated in clause 5.2, and it is strongly recommended that at least 2 able bodied persons are available to receive the delivery and carry the goods inside.
- AVAILABILITY & PRICINGIf we are unable to accept your order, for example because a Product is out of stock or no longer available or we cannot meet your requested delivery date or there was an error in price on our Website, we will inform you of this by telephone/email as soon as is reasonably practicable and we will not continue to process your order. If you have already paid for your order, we will refund you the full amount including any delivery costs charged as soon as is reasonably possible.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.
Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. Where a Product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
- FAULTY PRODUCTS
We pride ourselves in providing quality products, we quality check all our products prior to despatch. If in the unlikely instance you receive a product damaged or faulty, we ask you to inform us within 48 hours. We will be happy to replace the product like for like at no extra cost to you. All our products carry a 12 month warranty against manufacture faults. We will in most cases try to repair any faults found, if that is not possible we will replace with a like for like exchange, or if the item is not available you will be given a suitable replacement of equal value.
- REFUNDS AND RETURNS
You may cancel from this agreement at any time up to 14 days after we have delivered the goods to you. If we have delivered the goods, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. Goods that have been modified by us, such as painting service performed at your request are outside the scope of the Distant Selling Act.
The goods must be returned to us in perfect condition, with the original undamaged packaging. If any damages occur during transit the customer is responsible in full and a refund will not be given. The total amount to be refunded will be the price paid less any delivery charges.
If you wish to return the goods more than 14 days after we have delivered the goods to you, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. There will be an additional administration charge of 35% of the purchase price of the goods returned. The initial delivery cost will be borne by you the customer. No Refunds after 30 days.
We will reimburse any amounts you have paid to us within 40 days of return of the goods, having deducted any return costs and administration fee if applicable.
This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law and nothing in these terms affect your statutory rights.
* All home deliveries all items must be checked at the time of delivery to ensure they are not faulty or damaged. if they appear to be faulty or damaged, then you must refuse the complete delivery and inform our customer services department immediately. if a product is accepted by the customer and signed for as being in perfect condition, we cannot accept any claim for faulty or damaged goods thereafter. it is the full responsibility of the customer to check the goods thoroughly before signing the delivery documentation. if you decide to accept goods without inspecting them, you do this at your own risk.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY CLAIMS ONCE A DELIVERY NOTE HAS BEEN SIGNED OR A DELIVERY HAS BEEN COMPLETED AS THE CUSTOMER HAS INSTRUCTED.
*Terms do not apply to small ‘Parcel Carrier’ Companies such as Parcel force, Royal mail and City-Link.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE CERAMIC, CHINA , CAST IRON, WOODEN AND ACRYLIC PRODUCTS BE INSPECTED AND SIGNED FOR BY THE CUSTOMER ON DELIVERY. If an item has any faults or manufacturing defects it will be collected, repaired or replaced at our expense

- DELIVERY CHARGES
Deliveries are made to the card holders address for security. We aim to provide competitive delivery rates and are constantly reviewing our delivery service to keep the cost low. (For deliveries other than the card holders address please contacts us by phone for assessment and security checks. Contact details can be found on our website)
You can collect small items from us free of charge. You can collect large items free of charge. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you have adequate means of collection and transport for your goods ordered. We will hold your order at our premises for 7 working days. If this is exceeded we will contact you to make further arrangements. Before collecting you must contact us and arrange for a pick up time.
We reserve the right to adjust or review our terms and conditions from time to time. Please check our terms and conditions for orders placed
Consequential loss – We will not be liable for any consequential loss caused directly or indirectly by any defect in its goods .The benefit of this warranty is given to the first retail purchaser of the goods and is not assignable or transferable.
We reserve the right to give a refund of the cost of the goods instead of replacing or repairing them. Such refund would be given after the goods have been returned to us and a consideration for the time that the product has been in normal use by the Purchaser hence a full refund will not be given.
